It is known that Epson salt reduces irritations, soften the nails and disinfect the foot. In warm water add 3 tablespoons of this salt and soak your foot in it for 30 minutes. (2)

Hydrogen Peroxide

You should mix half a cup of hydrogen peroxide in water. Then put your foot in it and keep it for 20 minutes. Hydrogen peroxide soften the nails and prevents infections.

Lemon slice

You can also treat your ingrown toenail with a lemon slice. Just place it on your nail and secure it using a bandage or gauze. Leave it overnight. (3)

Cotton Wedge under the Nail

Soak your feet in warm water for few minutes and then dry them. After that, place a small piece of cotton between your nail and the skin. Replace the cotton every day.

Turmeric
