We all know that water means life. We cannot live without it. It is vital for all known forms of life on the planet Earth. Drinking enough water keeps our body healthy, adjusts the body’s temperature and improves the digestion. It removes all the toxins from the body and makes the necessary body fluids.

If we don’t drink enough water, we are going to have serious health problems.  Our body is always giving us a signs when we need more water.

  1. Frequency of urination

When you have a water deficit you are urinating less that 2-3 times a day. This way your body is telling you that you should start drinking more water. By not consuming enough water, you can cause many difficulties for you kidneys.

  1. Dry Mouth

If you have dry mouth constantly, your throat and mouth can be permanently damaged. It is caused by lack of water in the body, but also it can be caused by some medications.

  1. Dry Skin

Dehydration makes your skin dry and even the lotions can’t keep it wet. If you want your body to stay hydrated you need to drink few glasses of water every hour and your skin is going to be shiny and smooth.

  1. Headaches

Your headaches can be caused by the dehydration. This type of headache occurs when you have not consumed enough fluids or you have sweated a lot. If you feel it you must drink water immediately.

  1. Color of the urine

This is one of the most alarming sign of dehydration. The color of your urine will be clear if you are well hydrated, but if you are dehydrated, the color of your urine will change significantly. It is going to be darker.

  1. Dizziness

Sometimes when people feel lightness in the head, that means that their body loses too much fluids and it lacks water. When you feel dizzy, always drink few glasses of water

  1. Hungry

When you feel hungry even after you have eaten it may means that your body needs water. It happens because your body often mistakes the thirst for hunger.

Symptoms of chronic dehydration: Constipation, Urinary tract infections, High cholesterol, Premature ageing, Confusion and Anxiety.
