Nowadays a lot of people suffer from moderate to severe form of restless legs syndrome also known as RLS.
The main symptoms are:
- Pain in foot
- Uncomfortable feeling in the legs
- Desire for shaking the legs
These symptoms usually are experienced during the night.
There are primary and secondary syndromes of restless leg
At the primary restless leg syndrome the disorder is hereditary. The secondary form is caused by anemia, pregnancy, damaged peripheral nerves and degenerative diseases of the spine. In some cases they can be caused from some medication or consummation of coffee, alcohol and nicotine.
On which way you can alleviate the symptoms?
You can stand up and walk around for few minutes. You can also stretch your legs before sleeping for preventing the symptoms. Another very beneficial option is warm bath before bedtime. It is recommended doing some exercises during the day and practice yoga. Try avoiding alcohol, black tea and coffee.
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 tablespoon chamomile flowers
- 1 tablespoon crushed fruit hip
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
- ½ liter boiled water
Firstly boil the water and add the rosehip flowers and the chamomile in it. Leave it to stay for few minutes. Then strain and add the lemon juice and honey. Stir the mixture well and drink it every day before going to sleep.
Mix 5 drops of basil and marjoram with 3 drops of almond oil. Massage your feet with this mixture every night before going to bed.
