How to Get Rid of Sunburn at Your Home Naturally

Summer is here. We all love to enjoy the sun but that is also a reason for numerous of sunburns. Here we are going to help you to solve this problem easily at your home. You only need to try these natural remedies:

1.Apple Cider Vinegar

We can use apple cider vinegar for different skin issues. It is also an excellent remedy for sunburns. It has anti-inflammatory properties and prevents blistering.

You need to pour some apple cider vinegar in a spray battle and add equal amounts if water. Mix it well and then spray your skin with it. You will feel instant relief. Repeat this three times a day. (1)

2.Use plain yogurt

Live cultured plain yogurt contains an abundance of probiotics and enzymes that heal our skin.

You will need:

  • ½ cup of plain live cultured yogurt

Apply the yogurt on the affected areas and leave it to stay for 5 minutes. After that, rinse it off with cool water. (2)

3.Baking soda

Full your bathtub with cold water and add a cup of baking soda.  Stir it well. Then soak in the water for 30 minutes. Repeat this every day. After several days the sunburn will be treated. The redness and the pain will be gone. (3)

4.Tea

You can use tea to relive the sunburns. Every tea contains a compound known as polyphenolic compounds such as tannins, catechins and epicatehins. They have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.  You should add 5 tablespoons of leat leaves in a boilng water and keep it covered for 30 minutes. After that drain it and dilute it with 4 cups of ice cold water. Soak cotton and then apply it on your skin. (4)

5.Aloe Vera

Apply Aloe Vera gel on the sunburns and leave it to stay for 20 minutes. It will cool the place and relive the symptoms. Repeat it several times a day. (5)
