Golden Milk! The Drink that Could Change Your LIFE!!!

We all have our bedtime rituals. Some people go for a long walk, or practice bedtime meditation, or get a drink of water, take a cold shower, and put on their dinosaur pajamas. Or at least I do.

But one very important thing I started to do after I was encouraged to by an Ayurvedic practitioner was to start drinking the golden milk 2 hours before bed. The question is, what is the golden milk ?

Important ingredients of golden milk are black pepper and turmeric, whose main compound – curcumin, a polyphenol from the Curcuma plant has some series antioxidant, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory kick to it.

The combination of black pepper and turmeric makes your body able to take even more of it.

Let’s see how to make it. You have to make a turmeric paste.

  • ½ a cup of filtered water
  • ¼ a cup of organic turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon of organic ground pepper.


Take a small pot and mix all the ingredients together. Stir everything over medium heat. The mix will become a paste. Let it chill in the fridge.

After that, make the milk:

  • 1 teaspoon of organic coconut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon of turmeric pasta
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • Organic, raw, unfiltered honey for taste.

You should mix all the ingredients together over medium heat, except the honey. You shouldn’t allow it to boil. Adding a bit of honey will give it a new taste and we recommend you to drink it as soon as it’s cool enough.
