How to Make Kombucha Tea?
Ingredients you will need:
- 3 glasses of water
- 6 bags of green or black tea
- 2 cups of kombucha
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 scoby per jar
Boil the water and then add the sugar. Stir well and add the tea bags. Leave it to cool for 30 minutes. After that remove the tea bags and pour the tea in the jar. Add the scoby and cover the jar. Ferment for 7 days.

You should never ferment kombucha in metal containers and if it starts to smell rotten or cheesy it means something is not right.
When the scoby becomes black it means that it is expired. If it becomes black or green that means that it’s infected and you must throw the scoby away and start again.
