Dr. Paul Kelly from the Oxford University has recently discovered that the most common form of modern day torture is having to wake up and start work before 10 o’clock.
That is something that affects a lot of us. Our bodies run on biological timer, known as our Circadian Rhythm. It is our body clock and it is a genetically pre-programmed cycle which regulates our brain activity, energy levels, hormone production and perception of time. By starting work before 10am every day, we are scientifically torturing ourselves.
Nowadays with our lifestyles we seriously damage the Circadian Rhythm. Our bodies work in this rhythm and with affecting it we affect our whole body. It has series response from all of our organs.
“We cannot change our 24-hour rhythms. You cannot learn to get up a certain time… your liver and your heart different patterns and you’re asking them to shift two or three hours”
We must try to maintain this rhythm and have a good healthy life. Instead of overtired, overworked, coffee intoxication, alcohol addiction, working in the hours of the day when we should sleep we should find a naturally productive way to live our life and be full with positive vibes and energy. Only in this way we can be really happy and healthy.
